This set made as a commission for some whanau based in Auckland.
My aunty wanted something different for her and her moko. Knowing my aunty loves the Koru pattern and going away from the norms you usually see in the shops I created these 3 pieces out of the same piece of stone and inlaid it with pieces of the same Paua shell that my mother gave me. It really was a family affair!
It is always an honour to be able to create pieces for people that have so much personal meaning behind them!
